KOENIGSEGG REGERA : CLAIMS TO BE FASTEST ACCELERATING CAR EVER...!!!

The KOENIGSEGG REGERA is a limited production Super car which was unveiled at the 2015 GENEVA MOTOR SHOW. Regera is the Swedish verb meaning "to reign".It was unveiled that only 80 cars will be produced totally.The price of  each car is estimated to be 1.9 million USD approx.

The Regera is a plug-in hybrid supercar.It combines the output of 5L V8 twin turbo and 3 electric motors giving an estimated power over 1500 bhp.

Koenigsegg states that the car has a top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph), is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds, 300 km/h (190 mph) in 12.3 seconds, and a speed of 400 km/h (250 mph) in less than 20 seconds. Koenigsegg also claim that the acceleration from 150 to 250 km/h (from 93 to 155 mph) requires 3.2 seconds.

On February 14, 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT set a new world speed record for 2-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The run was performed at the Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway. Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsport, experienced race driver and a former Michelin tire test engineer, drove the Venom GT to its record speed.

Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce was announced in March 2015 at the Geneva Motor show. It is the FASTEST production of LAMBORGHINI ever built.

The Roadster packs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine tuned to make 750 horsepower at 8,400 rpm and 507 foot-pounds of torque at 5,500 rpm.
